Choosing to SEE

I recently finished reading the book Choosing to SEE by Mary Beth Chapman. I have one word. WOW! I'm usually way to much of a busy-body to sit down and actually completely read a book. However, this was a totally different situation. I couldn't put it down, and ended up finishing it in just a few days. The Lord has definitely given the Chapman family a unique story and there is no doubt who gets the glory throughout this book.

Stephen Curtis and Mary Beth have awesome adoption stories! I have always had a dream of adopting a child (or children) from another country. I just think it is the perfect picture of what our Father has done for us. He tells us in His word to care for the widows and orphans (James 1:27). I do think this looks different for each person, in our case I feel like that could be do adopt. For others, it may be supporting a child through an organization like Compassion, or to go on mission trip.


I encourage you to pray about this and see how the Lord is calling you to care for these precious people!
